WIG COURSES
All of our courses are taught from our studio in Manchester and are all 1-1. We provide a safe and comfortable learning environment where everybody is welcome, we would like to particularly encourage neurodiverse people to come and learn. Being neurodivergent myself I know how important and life changing it can be to learn a new skill but sometimes the process of learning just makes it feel impossible. Please let me know if you have any specific learning environment needs such as no background music, a quiet day so not so much chit chat, more regular breaks or just simply more air moving through the studio.
All of our courses can be totally bespoke and we pride ourselves on supplying personalised learning, we have rough outlines of courses we run and things that have proved popular but if you have anything in particular you want to learn let us know and we can provide information on how many days we think you would need for this.
All courses require a deposit to secure the desired dates and the remaining money is due 2 weeks before the course start date.

Good As A Refresher Course

This course is suitable for absolute beginners or people who haven’t knotted for a while and want to get into it. We would also recommend this course for people considering our intensive course but want to see if knotting is for them, we don’t want you booking the full course and hating wig making on day one!

For all things facial hair! If you haven’t knotted before we recommend adding an extra day on at the beginning to get your knotting going so that you get more out of the course. For this one it is totally up to you what facial hair we make and what hair and lace we use, we are happy to guide you on this when you’re here. This course does not include beard making.

This course includes all of the skills needed to make your CV for TV and film more appealing and means you will be extra helpful on set. Some of the course content is making facial hair and simple wig repairs using the whip stitch.

Full 6 Day Course
Course Can Be Split
3 Days in our Manchester Based Studio Your Skill Set
This course has everything you need to learn how to make a full wig from beginning to end. We do not include foundation making so this is all purely concentrating on the knotting! The hours for this course are 10-4, and the 6 days do not need to be consecutive they can be split up over a number of weeks if that works better for you (we highly recommend at least a split of 3 days a week to give yourself time to rest in-between and the information to sink in.
